^ That's probably not going to happen, but I will try to take some photos, weather permitting. Bear in mind that my camera only manages to cough out pictures in broad daylight...

        ^ ...

But photographs of the actual piece only would also be great.
        And thank you.
Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
        Of course.

Thanks! I knew about it, but it's still way better than I either remembered or imagined. You can see the cotton/brocade combination elsewhere in this collection, btw: http://husseinchalayan.com/data/coll...s/CHAL_274.jpg

I'll crosspost these pics from another forum because I promised one or two people here to mention how this piece is built.

This is the mandarin collar suede from the Julius midseason update for F/W10.

Fit: Julius' raglans seem to change season to season lately with regard to fit. The size 1 above I'd say is roughly a true 44 in the shoulders. The body is larger. Of note is that while most of the other raglans taper/contour in the body as they lengthen and are built for people with wider hips than waists, this one isn't. It's straight all the way down. It does have a longer body and sleeve length than is usual for size 1 however, for which everyone outside Japan is very grateful. For reference, I'm around 185cm and 55kg.

Design/construction: It's relatively thick leather for Julius. I'd guess around 3oz. Also just from handling the weight and the build, I can confirm that it's genuinely reverse steer rather than split and then bonded leather. The tailoring is top-notch, as usual, though I don't know what possessed him to add horizontal darting. Everyone hates horizontal darting. The texture is of course the main point of the jacket, so I'll just say that it's really, really good. Uneven, and it remains to be seen how the fibers will hold up over time, but for the first-ever offering of suede Julius has done it's actually quite impressive.

Beautiful jacket .steve What is the material?

It looks like a fitted, almost "anatomical" cut. It'd be great to see a fit pic.

                          i received mine as well^

D, its rayon linen and wool blend. textured is really nice, soft smooth but substantial. Yes, anatomical cuts, slim arm and high arm hole. will post some details pic at Devoa thread later.

Will try to get a fit pic soon, magic's comment about the jacket is spot on.
