Yeah, they're great. My first Guidi's and I sized up from a 42 to a 43. Good length but a tad tight. Hopefully when this New England snow goes and I start walking around town in them they will loosen up a bit.

Long mac coat in tweed. Honestly I never had any interest in the mac coats until I saw it in tweed... I think it's the only material that it really "works" in.

I literally e-mailed every Paul Harnden stockist that I could find contact info for, including the Asian ones, and only one of them had it, and it was in my size... Song in Vienna. I did it over the phone, but I'd love to visit the shop in person as it seems pretty cool. They carry PH furniture too! Plus the guy working there is American.

I know Song and got my hopscotch blazer from them, great people to work with.
Which size did you go for? Up or down?

                  EDIT: Fits pics pretty please!

Size small and it fits great. My friend has one in size medium, so I knew I'd be a small. I'll get fit pics eventually.

I've just ordered these Christian Peau boots from Oki-Ni in a UK size 7:

I think Christian Peau is one of the more interesting Japanese designers emerging at the moment - you can see his influences very clearly and I don't feel he has yet developed a strong vision of his own, but some of his pieces are superb, especially the leather jackets.

The boots are a bit of an experiment for me - they don't look like one of his more interesting efforts, but they were a pretty good price - £150 (reduced from £400 in the sale). The last pair!

They look a bit flimsy compared to some of his I've seen, so I wonder if they might be 'watered down' for western consumption.

The sole looks unusual, I'm not sure how or whether to vibram these:

Anyway, I'll see how it goes.
