Well, I've just kopped my first Paul Harnden 'piece' (and - I tremble as I type - it also breaks my personal record for the most expensive item I've bought.. gulp...)

It's the 6 button leather blazer.

Paul Harnden in leather is killin' it.

Hard to find & easy to love.

Yeah, only 14.5oz but it is pretty stiff compared to most raw denim that I've owned. Once I handled a pair of 21oz Iron Heart denim that was just ridiculous. The jeans were so thick/heavy they could stand up on their own.

Iron Heart denim is amazing stuff. The cords are huge, so it looks rather inelegant, but it WILL NOT DIE. I bought my brother a pair (he destroys all clothes) and they've lasted well over a year now. This is unheard of.

received my Rick Owens scuba today. feels kinda big in the waist/hip(lower) area, about at least an inch on each side to spare when zipped(more when unzipped).
thinking about returning it...thoughts?

I Think it fits you well. If you size down, you can get problems in the shoulder area i think.

I wouldn't size down either, it will pull on the chest if you do.

yeah I agree sizing down would be too small, and this fits perfectly in the shoulders,chest and arms area, but a lot of room and feels really boxy in the lower region. feels weird. it's going to a good home now though so that's what matters!

I honestly don't think its very flattering, although it may be because thats one of my least favorite Rick jackets.
