I bought my first LUC piece today, a sweater. It is made of silk, and the style is "Seam Pocket Double Layer." I was taken by a few of the sweaters and had trouble deciding between this and another that is made of wool. I love the rough texture of the silk, but as I'm more familiar with merino wool, I was concerned that it would degrade or stretch or otherwise self-destruct over time. In the end, the fit and uniqueness of the material swayed me toward the silk. They are both very functional and beautiful so I anticipated wearing either on a regular basis. For this reason especially, I wanted to be sure that it would be durable. Reading through some of the posts here, it seems like people have mostly had really great experiences.

they fit well, but I don't like the "massive" look - especially with a narrow jeans.
