I have a pair of HOPE boots, they're absolutely beautiful but the construction is very bad. The sole is glued and is coming off and I must say I haven't worn them too much at all. They also have a very nice strap/buckle-detail but it fucks up when you actually walk (hard to explain). At about $700 they weren't that cheap, so you'd expect them to hold up a bit better. That being said, the boots are beautiful.

wanted one of these for 3+ years now:


perhaps a tad heavier than I'd prefer for a S/S leather but quite like the matte, slightly waxy finish and the fit is impeccable.

at least 4 apparently. really happy with them all though and probably have more than enough leather now, maybe a high collar intarsia should a suitable sizing/leather combination arise..
