Continuing on my journey into relics and vintage fabrics... another beautiful piece:










A skull bone mala dating to the early 1800s. Crafted out of discs cut out of the skulls of monks who had received sky burials. The other monks would recollect the bones and create a mala. Well used, the edges on all pieces have rounded out with use and the bone has taken in the oils of the hand giving them an amber look and translucency to them. Incredible and beautiful... something so much more than just prayer beads.

The fabric looks amazing on those j-pants, are those cut slimmer than previous seasons'? The pics from Ink and Lazzari make them look much slimmer than usual.

Nice... Is this current season?? And the material is linen right? Love the ribbed sleeves.

Its made of coton, rayon, acetate and viscose according to the composition tag. From earlier seasons. I feel like i could wear this jacket on a daily basis, with some random tees, silent black phlox and ma+ derbies.
