I got my mind on a Luc jacket that I just forgot about the CCP leather. scarstitch is forever!!

Holy shit, those CDG jackets are like candy to me. Can't wait to get that one, there are so many things to do with that color.

Saw that one too, mailmoth. Older CDGH+ jackets usually bore me, but that one is definitely special. Very interesting fabric, and I always love the exposed sleeve lining detail.

I already own one from this period (circa 1995) - and what I like the most, besides the look, which certainly may be a bit dated (wide shoulders and sleeves - nothing unbearable for someone who likes roomy, comfortable cuts a la Yohji) is the amazing quality you get for a fairly decent price. And I feel this one will do more than meet my expectations on that point.
The only problem is I don't have any room left in my closet

Agreed, they can easily look dated, but pair well with a Yohji-esque wardrobe. Sometime this summer I bought one from the 90s, but the shoulder pads and boxy fit clashed too much with my current style. I also agree regarding the quality. Jackets and suits from this period are usually priced MUCH lower than the more current, louder designs, so they're definite bargains.

Aw, was hoping you would pick it up. I would, but then I'd have to totally switch directions in terms of style. I've done that more than enough over the past few months, so I guess it'll go to an anonymous ebay member.
