Love the fit; always been tenative about the wider toe and the possible popeye effect but that's totally not the case. I also now fully understand how people can hoard cdiems.

Definitely would be open to advice on how to keep em lasting a lifetime. They're vibramed and the reverse leather is nice and stiff and durable, but eventually could use some nourishing.

oh... and what a steal for 730 usd (imo a steal)

those look good! but is the reversed leather really soft? Im saying that based on the fact that the toe box looks flattened, which is something i dislike personally. though definitely not taking anything away from those carpes.

actually quite hard... theres some sort of hard material lining the inside of the toe box. the toes are not as flat as they look? but i see where you are coming from!
