Nictan, I have that L'Maltieri riders jacket too - absolute killer jacket, goes with everything. I'm also 'digging' the LUC farmer's jacket (geddit??!)

docus: yes it is indeed, the length is cut slightly shorter, but no navel problem like that of the earlier m.a+ aviators. fits very much like a similar jacket from LUC, maybe a teeny big longer. pretty much perfect IMO

The L'M definitely fits longer than m.a+ aviators, and also (as you say) a bit longer than the LUC riders jacket. The LUC version is great, but I think the L'M is nicer and has details the LUC versions lacks, like the little inner extended sleeve. Also, the weave of the cotton on the L'M is utterly stunning.

yes i was unsure about the extended sleeve detail at first, as i thought it will be a ribbed cuff like some jackets, but turns out entirely different from what i expected, now it just looks like I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt, sticking out just a little under the jacket.

and i really must agree on the weave. was staring at it for a good minute when i first got it.
