As far as I know the KIT-R fabric is gone for good so special ordering might be a problem. :-)

Just got the gloved version of the short coat in the 2009 fabric TAR and its becoming one of my favourite pieces.

What size did you go for in the chainseam jeans?

Really like that CCP coat peasant. Looks warm enough to tackle a Chicago winter.

The jeans are ridiculously sized. Tagged 52 and I'm a 46. Likely severe shrinkage after the OD / drying process. 42cm waist so they fit a 48. I wanted them oversized and they're pretty much exactly what I was going for. Gives them a slightly dropped look and I was worried about the chainseams breaking if they were too tight.

Coat is warm.. but only lined with cotton in the sleeves. You'd need to layer. Fabrics like WFACE would allow you to sleep outside in a CHG winter. So heavy.

Weird, I just ordered a suit in ROR-EDGE and the application of this fabric on a blazer/pants looks very different than what I can see from your coat... stiff fabric but not so heavy.
and yes, KIT-R is definitely out of stock.

Such amazing purcharses Peasant. The coat is well... amazing. And the assymetrical cut with that material and chainseam - so much love. Shame the sizing is so crazy but if it works for you just as you wanted it's all good :) Awaiting some fit pic!

JL - Personally I'd find this too dense for a suit. Not very comfortable that tight though that's rarely a concern with Carol. It will be a nice suit. A blazer sold awhile back made from PETT which is similar. Would like to hear about it when it comes in.

Ha.. no, no.. I didn't mean for that to sound so negative. I'm sure the suit will be beautiful. I inquired about a suit and CCP actually suggested this fabric. It will definitely be structured but is sure to wear in nicely.
