tell me about it... my go-to pair is a pretty sleek desert boot in a nice faux nubuck by bourgeois boheme but i could definitely use something with a higher shaft. my heart was broken this past fall when ln-cc marked down a beautiful coated cotton boot by dries van noten--i was all set to make the purchase before learning of the leather lining :C now considering these; would like to see em in real life before pulling the trigger.

i actually agree with you here, the main reason i fell in love with the dries van noten boots was exactly because they were coated cotton and not faux-anything. unfortunately, waxed canvas boots, or any other vegan boots for that matter, are really fucking hard to find. at least ones with a decent silhouette...

I guess when one decides to be a vegan, one would have to then set what is acceptable and what isn't? I'm asking because I know some vegans who would also have to confirm if those Dries boots were waxed with beeswax.

Finding nice clothing is hard enough...finding vegan nice clothing must be a nightmare.
