drkshdw one, better and cheaper. it's poplin, the mainline one felt like some annoying coated poplin. could barely squeeze into size M in the mainline version, but the drkshdw M is perfect. got a lot of compliments on it today. it's a really great piece.

ah, yeah awesome - you did what i did and went for drkshdw. i suspected the mainline one was coated with polyurethane and from how you describe it it seems that's the case. not worth the price difference, imo. though i expect the drkshdw to fade faster, but that's fine w me.

and yeah, it's weird how for me too i often wear a size smaller in drkshdw than mainline for bottoms, even if the cut is the same...

it's handwoven without a weaving machine. He tied the threads together into fabric. it costs 10 000 dollars. it took 1 year to make.

Is SF really cold and rainy at this time? Visiting the area next week and have been nagged constantly to pack warm clothes. Will be better than the northeastern area at least...

^^We had ridiculously warm weather until about a week ago. Like warmer than June/July.

Starting today we have our first winter rain and it's POURING outside, but it's not cold. 59 degrees out as I write this. Anytime someone in SF say it's "cold" they mean it's 45-50. Anytime someone in SF says it's "hot" they mean it's 60-65. haha. The weather is pretty much 55 +/- 10 degrees here 90% of the time.

But.......it is rainy rainy rainy until Tuesday. Hell, it's supposed to be 63 on Wednesday, which is pretty damn warm for the "thick of winter".
