its actually like a variegated weave.

I wish more people would show detail shots, textures and construction of newly purchased pieces. It happened for a while but there's been a lull.

Oh no, do these look greyer in person? They looked grey in the original photos.

the one Cows got was made specially for him from a special yet to be released canvas I brought back from JA, so he is the only one with that fabrication and colrway so far. I also dyed them twice as I was experimenting with the fabric.......so they are darker than the one in the original pics.........the others there are two fabric variations and none of them is as dark as his....so yours won't be that dark

As for the scarf, its made of two types of linen, and no, that one is not a sarti fabric, the textured wool we use are, but not the linen. the darker plain weave linen is a 1970's vintage linen was sourced in JA, and the one in the detail shot is from Italy......
