^ There are quite a few Laguiole makers around, some good and some not so good. Mine's from Fontenille Pataud, pretty basic but they do some models in exotic materials like fossilized mammoth ivory with folded damascus blades if that's your thing.

Edit: Also this thread has prompted me to finally start searching for a replacement to the Laguiole waiter's corkscrew i bought in Paris 7 years ago that turned out to be not-very-high-quality...
