Love this argument.
If you buy with brand consciousness / morals this label may conflict with your ideals. But if you dig a little deeper and check out a recent interview you may find the core of ch is similar to those of your favorite designers.
If you're buying because the quality is good and you think it looks sick as fuck... get yo roll on. Lil bit goes a long way with ch.

I'm not the best judge of jewelry, admittedly. I can't really stand to wear watches, rings or necklaces. Just always felt unnatural and binding.

I do wear one of these once in a while...it's a leather hospital bracelet. Simple, not bulky or cumbersome...doesn't move around much. You can forget that you're wearing it, which is what I like.

And this is almost appropriate for recent purchases because I've only had it for a few months.

Once again we've descended into the ongoing argument about CH. I wont defend the aesthetic as it's a moot argument and largely their designs are tacky, perhaps it's part of the appeal. I will say however, that once, upon entering a Chrome Hearts boutique with my father who was a carpenter and GC many years ago, he noted that the store employed some of the most well crafted wood and silver work he had ever seen. The craftsman at CH who create entire stores out of ebony wood (notoriously dense) with extremely intricate inlays, are some of the best in the world.

For those of you who truly appreciate artisinal craftsmanship, these guys build everything themselves at their studios in LA, down to the door and cabinet hinges. Say what you will about the aesthetic, but you cant deny that no other brand has created such a total universe for itself.
