It seems to fit through the body. I think the problem is the fabric. The nylon lacks any type of shape or structure, which is why I have never been a fan of Rick outerwear in that material.

And this RO Moto. Got for a good price, but didn't really pay attention to the measurements...kinda figured it would fit cropped. Already got some flak from another forum - but do you guys think the fit is salvageable or should it go straight to ebay?

from what i've seen/heard general rule is that AW leathers fit longer than the SS ones do. you'll probably have to look for a SS version, though the leather won't be as heavyweight (you can take that to be a good or a bad thing). never seen it look THAT long on somebody before though i must say.

could easily size down 1, maybe 2 or just look for another brand as rick leathers are cut longer in the front

it has an awful lot to do with it, have you ever held an older season AW rick leather next to a newer season SS leather? i have and i'm telling you it's a world of difference. i know for a fact that a ss11/12 rick leather would be a desirable length for him.

Are you blind dude? Its not too big everywhere, the shoulders are way too tight and the chest seems OK considering that the jacket is open. It's the waist and length that are off.

I apologize for starting a pointless argument. What I should have written instead was that imo the jacket looks too tight on the shoulders, hence sizing down would be impossible. I still think the folding is a problem of the lower chest/waist area, as opposed to the pit-to-pit measurement.
