S/S 12 had a dyed white black jean that was selvedge. It was 1500+ though. Made in Italy too.

the quality and fit of balmain jeans are second to none. also denim is very nice and super comfortable. hardware and finishing is very similar to Dior Homme but fit alot better in my experience

Nice, but how are a ring a bracelet and a feather summer specific? Lol also still don't know why people pay so much money for a feather. I see them on the ground daily

oh because during winter it's usually longsleeves/sweater + gloves = no need for rings and bracelets. When it's summer, normally people wear shortsleeves and the wrists and hands are exposed. That's when we need rings and bracelets for 'layers' imo.

got the feather pin from Ln-cc sale. paid something around 108usd + shiping. I guess that's more than reasonable compared to the original retail 357usd no? the feather and the 925 silver works amazingly appealing in real life. I am digging for an ann d feather necklace now.

p.s. Does anyone have a ann dem raven/claw ring? Ive been looking for one

i've been wanting one for quite some time but i have to say i share voice_on_tape's sentiment that it's hard to justify spending so much money on a feather. maybe if i saw it in person and/or it was well-below retail

I think the same argument could be made for a lot of WM/CH/etc. pieces. Their value to anyone uninterested in the designer premium, is only the weight of the silver which is probably under one troy ounce (speaking more of the standard rings).

That being said, I own a WM ring and paid much more than the silver value.

yeah, i mean i realize that and you could relate it to clothes/fashion in general but i feel like it's still a bit different with a feather. i think for like a ring or most other jewelry it involves a more complicated process that gives the outcome more discernable value. feathers are everywhere and while i couldn't make an exact replica, with enough time (which wouldn't be much) i could probably make something that looked all right.

i agree with you but it's a mental barrier for me. i don't wear jewelry to begin with either. i've tried before and want to again, but it's probably not best to start by buying a $4-500 feather
