also what i meant was ive always seen devoa as a brand more known for its ready to wear, (freedom from restriction) kind of thing, but ive always thought their footwear was beautiful as well.

That's better. She knows what she has on her hands now, so she's voluntarily giving you a good deal while still making what I assume is a good profit for her. Now it sounds like a win-win.

Devoa boots typically run large a half or a full size. I usually wear 42 normally but 41 in Devoa. Historically they've also run wide, which is why I disliked them, but this current model fixes that. I think the current F/W is a maturing of the footwear.

Those particular boots also come standard with a very thick removable memory insole (of which sizes are inclusive), so keep this in mind if you don't like insoles but are ordering.

In terms of quality, he's been using Guidi leather for a few years now. In terms of construction, this gets into nebulous subjective territory. I'd say it's a bit under the IS capsule collection, which I think is ahead of anything else right now, and at least on par with something like A Diciannoveventitre, which to be honest I don't understand the fuss over.

He used leather from Badalassi Carlo a year or two back on some of the boots. The pair i own is made of leather from this tannery.

Just got these Devoa low ankle boots. The shape is very similar to the boots modalsaliency posted recently. I would agree that earlier versions of their footwear ran much wider.
