I've been trying to decipher designer trainers and their purpose other than the aesthetic and I can't seem to wrap my head around it. I exercise and at a certain point can't see myself spending more than X amount of money on clothes/shoes I intend on thrashing. Rock climbing, running, swimming, biking, snowboarding, and the like absolutely push clothing to the threshold of their durability. If you have the funds then more power to you, but personally it's hard for me to justify buying a product that is more utilitarian than anything else I own.

I might be missing the point. I admit that. Each to their own for sure. Don't get me wrong, I think they're sick. Just curious as to the application of them.
