1986 Porsche Carrera 3.2 Coupe
Completely screams 80's bad guy douche mobile but these air cooled cars are highly collectable. Unlike my CDG jacket I have in the classifieds, this will slowly rise in value while I enjoy driving this with my popped Raf polo collar. I already lived up to the D-Bag factor by posting the car up in a fashion forum, so I will stay "true to size" and leave it red, but yes, a repaint would really kill the value. Normally I shy away from red, but always liked it on Porsches. Going to probably remove the whale tail, but it is slowly growing on me.
MrB, I have been looking for almost a year and was getting outbid by people on your side of the pond (mostly by German collectors who salivate over California cars). Targa's are DOPE (love the profile with the top out) and was actually looking for that or a Cab, but this coupe popped up nearby and I jumped on it. Are you looking at air cooled or the 991 (which I think is just incredible)?Comment

Congrats on finding one! Looks to be in great condition as well.... Love those air cooled Porsches since you can tinker on them too if you are so inclined. The older you go, the closer the parallel to the VW engine and the easier it is to work on.
