May I ask how you approach shopping for vintage watches, Snafu?

I hear horrible things about counterfeit issues for ebay, et cetera, especially for those who aren’t very familiar with the models and matter. I assume there are catalogues of past decades to search a model, but then… you contact a specific dealer?
Or trustworthy e-retailers?

Wempe and most fine jewelers I’ve been too mostly stock new watches, no vintage (i.e. second hand) stuff.

What do you like so much about it? I don't much about TVA and am genuinely curious.

Mostly the color, and just haven't seen many of these around. Though it's the perfect summer piece as well, being so lightweight, and it sits nicely on the body due to the twisted seams.

May I ask what size are you and how is the fit / sizing? My experience with BBS is rather limited but I believe a sz M. would fit me nice... (I'm a sz 48, M in drkshdw and 50 in RO tops and leathers).

Also, pardon my ignorance fellow sz-ers', but what does "gum dyed" really mean? it's all over Boris recent season(s?)... couldn't find much info on the net... maybe someone around here could explain a bit?

my advice is to go 1 size up!
I'm a 50 (mt.1.88; 88kg), I've bought a size XL and it's perfect on me. Size L was too tight.
Cannot explain what "gum dying" is, but when I touched the fabric, I understood what it means
