just got my first carpe diem piece, a knee length coat


missing the fabric tags but i think its wool or a wool blend. its in rough condition, tons of tiny holes and imperfections but they are pretty uniform and it adds some character, i think. its fully lined, nice and warm, and has zippers running from the arm all the way down to the side of the garment, that unzip fully.

i have a couple questions about it, first of all there is 4 buttons on the inside, but as far as i can tell they dont attach to anything, just there for show?


second of all, the collar is sewn together, it looks badly done and im going to remove it either way but this is done by the previous owner right? it doesnt look like its meant to be there

I must say, I've really gotten into m.a.+ for the fall/spring look. And I used to not care for it (except the footwear, which I've always said is the best thing since the CDiem days). But it's not the first time I've eaten my words.

I've been handling a few pieces at pn/p and Lift last month, got myself a tee - got a lot of compliments about it. The materials for their tees and knits are gorgeous. And they felt more durable than LUC.
