I don't know guys. Something missing for me in m_moria. They are just too polished, too "gentleman goes out on a Sunday stroll." They look more at home with the Pitti Uomo look rather than with rock'n'roll that was CDiem.

I felt like Faust at first but i can see now how they can be integrated to the altieri universe with some wear. I would adopt Tabula's method and wear them to the ground if i owned a pair....(they look much better in that photo and the last is definitely attractive).
These were exactly my thoughts Faust. As much as I love the craftsmanship and quality there is just something missing. It is a bit too gentlemen like. They are beautiful though.

Agreed, I find them an unusual shoe to be considering especially when you look at their price. I can't really say I've heard an argument for them that sets them apart from some more traditional italian brand. I just can't see where the desire comes from

Agreed, feels as though it's another hype train, following a crowd rather than making up ones own mind... and I'm sure their owners will argue otherwise ;)
I don't really get the hype accusation here. I'm pretty sure you will never see m_moria up for sale on the nauseous hype section of grailed

Well I edited the post, but looks like it's stuck in a quote now. Different quantity of hype, sure, but I feel like any other shoe looking like m_moriabc would not be met with the same desire without having the history of cdiem behind it..

I also don't think it's hype - they are definitely very well-made shoes and are beautiful in their own right. I can understand why someone would want a pair.
