Samsung just came out with a DVD Player that plays both Blu-Ray and HD DVD. So you might want to consider that.[H]
Or if you want to go ghetto superstar (college student style), you can simply purchase both PS3 and Xbox 360 and have both application and play on 2 different play console platform. [83]
Now you believe in someone else having to take pictures for the other person....[79] *Inside Joke*

OSN, any chance of you getting someone to take some fit pics of the jacket for you? The details on the first few fit pics took my breath away. Looks great! [Y]

cool pants Joey, it doesn't really show in that pic but those are the ones with the raw hem detailing, right? Tried those pants on last season, nice but found it hard to incorporate into my wardrobe...i had an easier time with the slimmer ones that go with the blazer. I think yours would look nifty with this season's cream high tops.
[quote user="philip nod"]wow.. i haven't been following the hd war...why did you get hd over blu ray? what do these things run now around 1000?
i just got hdtv up and running after blowing it off for a year....tv is like crack now. its really startling the difference.

The decisive factor for me was the price, actually. This model (A2) just dropped in price to $200 at your local friendly Circuit City (a pair of CCP socks, if you will), so I pulled the trigger. My sense is that the format war will end in a draw this time, and people will just make double format players. I just got an HDTV too, and watching football with the same antenna I had is absolutely incredible. No need for cable (I don't watch TV, except sports). If you want to sit on the fence, but get most out of your TV, get the same upconverting DVD player I got. It will do wonders for your regular DVDs.

Are all broadcasts in NY in HD? HD broadcasts and regular broadcasts here in Los Angeles are two entirely different beasts. I would imagine this to be true anywhere. Granted, there was a vast improvement in picture even with basic cable and I thought my picture was great. That is until I got HD Moxi. I than realized the potential of my idiot box was not being utilized to its fullest. The pictures are so vibrant. Now if there was something that can be done to improve upon the content of the programs. [^o)]
BTW...HD and blu-ray discs stomp regular dvds into the ground and leave them for dust.
