    Re: Your recent purchases

So, I am starting to notice Asian sellers not sending to Italy? What's up with that? Fakes that Interpol is after?

rock it out P! It's raining here :(

Fedex just showed up with the deep V hoodie. I'm pretty happy with it. You're right on the colorway/texture. Its close to the gray of the aviator I have. If I can find the black/white colorway/texture I'll trade it off, but in the meantime it's a lovely little fella. I almost wish the fabric on the inside was on the outside for that dirty green!

It's like Christmas on this board! I just got my Ann D. threader jacket from yoox. It is amazing! The fabric is very light (wool/cotton) and unlined great for summer. The cut is so amazing, the way it wraps around the body and flairs at the tail a bit. This is one of those wardrobe changing pieces, which can be a problem because it makes what I already have feel obsolete [:'(]

That blackcissors thing looks relatively good, I wouldn't go with treated leathers, a simple but well cut DH-like jacket could be cool though. Too bad I don't need any leather jackets. Still post pictures guys, always interesting.

                      I haven't purchased anything in 2008....

Not necessarily how I'll wear it, but here's a quick pic of the Ann jacket. Why did they put the threader pin on the wrong lapel though, It's on the side that buttons over so it gets covered up, but it's sewn on so I don't know if I want to take it off...

It's funny this came up, I just made an order today for the Dior 'Flap' Leather [campaign jacket from FW06] after some debate. I think what won me over was the amazing quality and detail of the work and many users coming back to order 2-3 more jackets. The opportunity to have a completely custom fit jacket is also very appealing, fake or no fake.

Whats funny is that I really want a jacket that I am not afraid to wear [a 'beater' as someone put it]. I have a terrible habit of being too careful with my 'nicer' clothes, and the result is I rarely wear some pieces. Anyone else become overly paranoid when wearing their finer garments? Being in the architectural field also doesn't help, shop + model making are no place for fancy clothes.

/\ I'm usually too careful about wearing my nicer pieces when they're new. Although by the next year, I wear them to death, as they're no longer new or 'special', mostly because newer pieces get that honor.
