    Re: Your recent purchases

tokyo's been pretty disappointing so far

all i've picked up is a black ring belt from yohji and a pair of black cotton straight leg pants from CdG H+. Going back today to see the new stock that's arrived...

some stocks were a bit dissapointing for me as well, like L'eclaireur. but Lift and others delivered and took a decent bite out of my wallet. in fact so much I had to buy a new wallet [85]

            Re: Your recent purchases

Mike: When I got to Lift, I saw there wasn't much stock left for some key brands. So YOU were the one responsible for that! haha...j/k

yesterday proved to be a bit more fruitful...didn't buy too much except for some basics with a twist, but should be enough combined with what i already have to tide me over this summer:

            - White cotton/ramie shirt w/ semi hidden buttons slit detail and slit collar

            - White cotton shirt w/ 2 big breast pockets and adjustable sleeve strap detail

            - Turquoise cotton short sleeve crewneck henley

            - Short sleeve t-shirt w/ asymmetrical white/black pattern

            - Cotton/linen army green wide leg cargo pants w/ back zip detail

all YY...doesn't sound like a lot but the total damage to my wallet was respectable :(

Nice, matt! are those all from SS '08? Can't wait to see you wearin' them in waywt.

How was your experience at the aoyama flagship this time (if that's where you picked them up)

                ... yesterday at Harveys, Berlin:

"work of 2005 off-white LMaltieri wool/cashmere shirt" + "this new SS/08 LUC cotton shirt":

                  Re: Your recent purchases

Nice, John! I really like the thick contrasting buttons and the raw edges. Reminiscent of the soft raw edges of a c.diem shirt that I love to bits.

Tell me: is am ap not so popular in the US?

I like the stuff: it is very good to mix with "our favourite brands" and brings down the combined-prices a little bit :)

the advertising is popular ;) i buy some underwear sometimes..

but i think it really appeals to germans in particular for some reason. i've never seen my gf get so excited about any type of clothes before like that.
