jealous!! this was (still is) on my hit list too, but then Atelier didn't receive it...nowhere in NY received it...and the same cape shows up in the "superheroes" exhibit at the Met! it looks really good on you.

Thanks Cas! The one thing that initially irked me was that although it's a 50 as requested the underarm to underarm is 21-21.5

At first I was devastated but it actually works out okay. That's wide enough to layer with a thin hoodie and have it be snug and slim enough to just wear with a tee if I want to. The cut takes a bit of getting used to through the lower abdomen as it doesn't sit super super close to the body and instead generates its own shape somewhat. The fencing has that pretty distinct silhouette.

....the pamphlet that comes with the jacket is stamped 01 - 01 :)

and the leather is out of this world. Feels like soft, pliable metal/lead... that's the closest description I can come up with. Like it's leather that is still sort of wet. Amazing.

Congrats Albert! I can't wait to see better photos. It sounds like the leather is the same as he's currently using for the SS 08 jointed jackets versus that super stiff FW 08 leather. The measurement sounds right for a 50 nothing to worry about there.
