Hey Ddohngo, nice purchase btw (carpe shoes), did you buy them from threedifferent (sp) on ebay, he got some good deals, especially for girls.

I got the jeans at a local store U&I, they were 395Can (+-340USD) and 50% off. Including taxes (13.95%) they came to 225Canadian/195USD.

I also made a purchase at U&I this week. A Cloak Shale Convertible Collar Shirt....really nice.

U&I is by far my favorite clothing store in Montreal.

thanks. i actually won them from another person who bought them from threedifferent at a cheaper price. i should pay for them now actually.

i've been looking for a pair of cloak selvedge jeans and have been flip flopping on the waist size. looks like i should get a 32, not sure how the waist would be on a 30. the rise isn't too high, correct? btw, canadian tax is pretty brutal.

Got my Ann D. stuff from LVR today, and I must say it's all beautiful! I'm quickly becoming a convert. I was nervous that I might be an XS instead of a S in her clothes but these three items are perfect. The jacket is really nice, fitted around the torso and flairs out a bit at the bottom and the hood is huge, the material is cool too 94% cotton 6% metallic. The diamond sweater is one of her wispy barely-there fabrics but it's still quite fitted, definitely need an undershirt though because it leaves nothing to the imagination without one (I laughed out loud when I tried it on alone). And the tee is cool, didn't realize it has those cartoony skull things (like on the badges) all over the back in gold fabric paint, kind of "arts and crafty" but still cool. If I can get my half broken camera working I'll post something in WAYT.

^^ When I was at 45rpm, I had picked up 2 t-shirts to try on: a black one and a white one. One of the ladies working there explained to me that the shirts I was holding were overdyed, and explained the whole typical process of having the untreated cotton dyed over. Now, I'm assuming for the white one, she was referring to the way untreated cotton can be dyed with optical whiteners since natural cotton is initially an off-white color. I just looked at the receipt, and the item description simply says "Super Gauze Men's L/S T-Shirt," so the lady could have just been referring to the black shirt being overdyed and not the white one. I can shoot them an e-mail if you'd really like to know if my shirt is indeed overdyed white...

EDIT: I just looked around on some clothing sites, and there's a Band of Outsiders shirt on the Oak site that is "white overdye." So, apparently, there is such a thing is overdyed white.

Nice pickup's casem and faust.

Here are the purchases I made from my trip to NYC a few days ago. The Rick Owens hoodie I bought at Barney's, and the Cloak workshirt came from the store on Greene.

I grabbed the Kim Jones/Umbro hoodie from ebay and the cplus beanie from deuxmille.

Happy birthday Faust, when you have the time, can you post pics of the shoes when worn (and covered by pant legs). I know I make a lot of "post more pics" requests but there's been quite a few interesting items showing up in here in the last few weeks.
