It was the Leffot trunk show, yeah. Great store, and I got to talk to the Girling of Gaziano and Girling for about an hour. Worth a visit for anyone coming to NYC.

Ilaria Nistri J cut twisted seam slim fit dark grey leather pants. put them on and it was like she created them specifically for me!!!!! never found J cut twisted seem pants in women's before, nor have i ever owned or wanted leather pants, but these are so amazing. perfect for a kunoichi.[79]

I love Ilaria Nistri! She is one of my favorite designers. Her designs are always so glamorous and chic. I saw that hautelook.com is having a sample sale on monday and tuesday next week! I can't wait. I've been waiting for this one.

What is it about it - the design or the fit?

If you don't mind me saying, I think it looks a tad short in the pic you posted, and I guess it doesn't go with the rest of the outfit - but I figured you just threw the jacket on for a quick picture. I think this jacket needs to be seen in person - the suppleness of the lambskin blows everything out of water, and it's lined in black waxed linen, which is awesome by itself, and the painted zippers add a nice touch. I love all things painted, ever since Margiela started painting denim.

Thanks for the feedback. Criticism's more useful than positive feedback, anyways. I wondered whether it was a bit short, but I think the way I took the picture may just make the proportions seem off.

And, yeah, I just put the jacket on to take a picture - those pants were actually 45rpm cargo shorts (ha ha). The leather is so fine that I don't think it really reads as a Leather Jacket at first look, which makes sense for me, based on the sorts of things I usually wear.
