Two pairs of Corthays model Arca; black with purple piping and lie-de-vin (a sort of burgundy with paler highlights and a hint of blue). As you can see from the second example Corthay can prepare amazing custom patinas that only grow more beautiful with age.

fuuma, your high society jewel heisting shoes are def growing on me. excellent call with the purple trim on the black pair (prob coordinates fantastically with your scarf) and the patina work on the other pair. the gradient effect is legitimately next level. generally speaking, just two beautiful pairs of shoes.

Arca usually retail at €850 including custom shoe trees. Terrific price if you compare to Berluti +-€1400 or Lobbs $1400(?), you usually pay extra for shoe trees at those companies so add another $100-150.

They're "object patinated". A lot of shoes that use dyes are now object dyed (in intermediary steps though) say Edward Green.
