Nah, they're on the Budapest last. I was going for something substantial that would look good under looser trousers (like the ones from Fall 2008 YSL)....double sole, goyser sewing. I like the toe cap of the Budapest, the way that it falls straight down vertically at the end, instead of tapering off the way that most shoes do. Although they're a heavy looking shoe, I don't think it looks clumsy at all, the way some shoes like this can.Originally posted by mesh View Post

I paid $560 shipped for the Vass shoes with trees, which seems like a great deal to me, but at the prices Vass sometimes sell for - $800+ for a pair of shoes - G&G seems like a better deal at $1050 or so.Comment
