nope i'm a bit tied down with some work and other commitments at the moment, afraid i can't make it in time for the tokyo ss09 run...

just bought it here in Hong Kong. Wasn't much to my liking, some white shirts with the lace collar detail, the garment dyed stripe tees, a bunch of standard wool pants in baggy cut, white or black color block shirts and those pants i mentioned earlier in that fabric + the slimmer cut. Like you say, it's more out of impulse to harvest as much YY before the lights go out.

i didn't really like the fw09 stuff looking at the show again, and ss10 looks like a bit of a mess but understandable if restructuring is under way...

the army green two-piece w/ the Che Guevara styled model was one of the few highlights i remember...it definitely doesn't look like a very seasonal winter piece, but perfect for the 11 month-heat climate i'm in.

but still, to preserve a bit of Yohji immortality in your closet, black is always the bet...i am pretty sure i can wear my Y's gabardine 2-button to the grave. That thing is practically plate mail (knock on wood).

Got a v nice navy/grey reversible wool longsleeve tee from Yohji in paris. Has big poka dots on. The mad price overdye tees (550 euros) had sold out!!

you know they have replicas of the mainline stuff for children? i couldn't believe it when i saw it. have to say that i thought it very badly judged. children shouldn't be dressed like little adults (a 7 year old wearing a silk yohji jacket with exposed stitching?!)

yes, i saw that last time (sadly enough, i must admit, i walked right by the rue carbon store this time without any desire to walk in. i did go to the Y's store though - they had copious amounts of good stuff, especially for women, + the main line too). i kind of agree with you, but mostly in terms of the insane pricing - i definitely wouldn't mind a little yohji coat for my daughter. Oh, and now that your status have changed, may I recommend the Charabia store for your next trip to Paris?! Too lovely.

Bonton was well and truely raided, but I'll check out Charabia, thanks

Laika, these are the glasses I ordered. Should get them by the end of the month, hopefully. The leather pieces are removable.
