yeah they indeed are, it is undulated silk, a blend of 59% cotton, 32% silk and 9% stainless. the result i think is best described as smooth and soft. if you can find one your size, get it! i believe i saw similiar pants on yahoo jp in sizes bigger than mine. so good luck!
