i like this one - classic yohji suiting cut. what's the fabric?

68% wool, 32% cotton. Gabardine fabric, amazing back pleated detailing. Currently one available on Yahoo! Japan for approx. 26K YEN.

Thanks guys. I've had the IS coat for a few weeks and I really love it.
A,B&S: I'm not sure of the color. There isn't any labeling besides the size on the sole (unless I'm missing something). Picked them up from A a few days ago and the receipt just says Black. There's a multitude of pigments going on. Black, grey, dark brown and even some purples. Very beautiful in person.

It is. It runs over-sized. I'm a 46 and this size 0 fits me perfectly. The bottom/waist closure has two holes to choose from. So this could also fit a 44. That being said, most IS pieces do not run over-sized. In fact, they run a bit small.

I'd like to know too... I bought a pair of those back when they were current, but have long since worn them to shreds. They're still in my closet - every once in a while I take them out and gaze wistfully at them.

finally, what's that black band in that HL look? A cummerbund? Interesting high/low mix which predates Hedi's forays into street safari and conveyed much more elegantly with simplicity. Can't see that entire runway shot but I imagine the footwear might've been a pair of Lang's indispensable black boots, maybe even the ones with a chain on them that I admired at the NY shop as a kid back in the late 90's...

Yohji did those paintjob washed jeans this past S/S 09 for Y's, but the tone and cut of those Langs just does it for me. Am pleased with how my 45 RPMs have finally broken in to age after 4 years, been wearing them everyday as of late and i eventually might just find some paint one day and do it myself.
