I don't think there is a general consensus on shoe trees for guidis. Some like the look of creases, some don't. Of course I prefer the look of worn boots, but as I do not want to let them age so quickly I use shoe trees for the front of the shoe to prevent them from creasing too much too soon. The backzips have no real heel cap so that I try to avoid putting pressure on the back of the boots. Once I used shoe trees in a normal way I had the impression that the back of the shoe was a little wider than before.
