chinorlz: is the true color of your Sartoria knit a deep gray? it's really impressive (and the LUC rutched knit and CCP jacket...well that's something else altogether!)

Finally got this Cloak vest at a reasonable price!

On a whim I e-mailed Jake 2 weeks ago asking if they had a small eventhough their website didn't show it, they said they might get one in. Today they did, and I ordered it! BTW the Cloak boutique dropped the price of the vest from $450 to $400 after I complained about how much cheaper it is everywhere else, but Jake's prices are still far cheaper.

I bought a Minox camera and a Sheaffer fountain pen, both vintage. I have a surprisingly difficult time finding clothing that I like--or more likely my size.

That metal handle is massive! Nice purchase Dark. Is it me or are the toes are squarer on this season's version?

I thought it was going to be less pointy too, but apparently they are still that classic Poell shape. The dyeing is great. It starts off as black in the toe area, then gets slightly dark grey as it reaches the top zipper part. The zippers are still slightly diagonal. I've tried different ways to wear/style them, but for some reason they only work out for me with the pants untucked. I actually liked them under worn under the hem, something different from what I used to. Atelier had the white ones too, but I didn't see the black/white sole version, hmmm.. I posted more pics of this in the CCP thread. In the meantime I'm absolutely using the clamps to store them, saves me closet space. Those who were waiting for this to drop, better get in touch with A. Once they send the email blast, it would be tougher to get your size!
