No, Barneys never mixes their men's collections with their women's. Historically, Ann women's has been sized numerically, though there are a few exceptions with knits, namely pieces like tanks.

It makes more sense to size knitwear as XS–XL, imo. I've never seen the necessity of a size 36 Ann cardigan versus a 38. XS and S would suffice, not to mention simplify things. As opposed to wovens, knits allow more leeway with fit. It may be a new direction in sizing for her, which would be a welcome change.

well, i have seen her woman's tank sized in numbers, i think her 36, equivalent to a males XXS, if i recall.. tho the cut of a tank is quite universal when it comes to gender fitting, so doesn't matter..

but what about the knits, shoulder and body length isnt it usually smaller? but then again, her stuff are usually loose fitted... : \

dries is so good this season. i saw this scarf at eva gentry and thought it would make a great skirt so they wrapped it around the mannequin for me like this. its big enough to wear as a top too. woodblock print with hand sewn trim.

a little late to the party but i love this! love the idea of taking stuff and wearing it differently..esp when its not apparent that its suppose to be a scarf ;) the pattern works really well.

Oh, yeah I know that they were meant to be that way. I was just referring to my opinion that sometimes Carol takes his asymmetry to a silly point. I'm all for the asymmetric fingers on the gloves etc. but two shoes that don't look the same is a little silly.

Indeed, they are a very thick cordovan. As far as the mismatching, I agree it is silly to have shoes that are shaped differently, and that's why I'm drawn to them haha; severe boots taken with a bit of levity
