You should just contact him and ask. Occasionally you'll run into someone who genuinely thinks what they are selling is legit when it's NOT. I've had it happen to me just once, but the seller truly didn't know the difference and I had to convince him.

- no label whatsoever (custom orders are no different from retail items)
- has snap buttons and fake clasp??
- leather looks nothing like typical ccp leather
- sold for $1000 instead of $3-5000

I just want to make sure they're real as I'm pretty sure I've seen fakes of this style or similar floating around the internet. The photos aren't the best quality so I'm struggling to get a proper look at the sole.

I like how Lowry puts it with Spock's reference, its a complete fake. If you look at the stitch work around the shoulder, how the material are bunched and the way the material flows when hung, you can see distinct irregularities when compared to the real thing. The rustic buttons are wider and a bit compressed looking. The overall composition looks too primped for Poell's recent designs. I highly doubt this design was derived from his earlier work, but his earlier work were slouchy and had that non-crisp look.
