The fake stooges didn't had the snap-button in the collar as far as I can know. This one has and looks pretty legit. You could also tell by the stitching of 'Rick Owens' inside and stitching technique in general.

anyway its fake, i believe only legit rick tags have that 'speckled' / 'dotted' print to it.

fakes ones are printed clearly as 2 post above.

I didn't know there was a leather version of BBS garment bag... could it be a fake?

There was one produced for SS12 or FW12/13 but very few retailers picked it up. The only store that I know of that had it was Reborn in Montreal where I got to see it. It looks like the one I handled and since the guy selling it is from Montreal, probably the real thing. There was a short discussion about it in the recent purchase thread sometime last year when someone was trying to track one down.

No, it's fake. Ask for photos of the sole (with Rick Owens inscription) and of insole (with Rick Owens inscription as well) to be sure.

Very good replica, but a replica nonetheless. The recessed stitching on the midsole/shank is a dead giveaway -- on genuine Geobaskets, the stitching is extruded. The proportions also appear to be slightly off.
