One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art ― Oscar Wilde

i think answers like "sorry, not sure what brand i'm wearing" or "totally forgot how much money i spent on my cashmere" make you look goofy as fuck, or like you're ashamed to wear your clothes.
throw the truth with all your arrogance. who the hell is he/she to ask such things? say full retail, not the price you paid. or at least say something fancy like "expensive stuff".

I don't care if I come off goofy or weird, and I know I'm not ashamed or else I wouldn't be doing this. It's just more the hassle of a conversation about clothing with people that aren't into it, maybe like trying to avoid a music conversation with someone who enjoys Mumford and Sons. But maybe the person is nice and I don't want to be an unrelatable dick, just an unapproachable eccentric.
