Stranger's Reactions to your Clothes?

Was walking past a few restaurants with people sitting outside. A gang of four tourists (nordic as well is my guess) spun around and eyed me up and down laughing hysterically. One guy had to cover his face with his hands.

Stories like this just make me laugh for some reason.

Gave them a good stare and walked on. Can't say I'm used to this behaviour. It really says something about their view on other fellow human beings to say the least.

Clothes can be a nice asshole detector sometimes, lets you know who to avoid based on their reactions.

On topic: PH clothes and CCP derbies have this summer rendered me the nickname Charlie Chaplin among distant relatives.

Perhaps it's not what you were wearing that started the laughs, but rather how you wore it. Maybe your crotch area was bulging out a bit?

I know I can't wear Rick t-shirts down, and hugging my jeans, as they accentuate the crotch bulge as I walk.

Nothing worse than attending and dorming in FIT my first year only to be stared at oddly and giggled when i would walk past majority of these suburban american eagle wearing students on my resident floor asking why i wore what i wore and one even said i dressed like some sort of ghetto samurai even though i am usually dressed in rick owens really casual wear (geobaskets, white tee, pod shorts). Needless to say first year of dorming was quite isolating
I wasn't really offended but it was just an interesting learning experience being around such people that were supposedly fashion minded individuals
