size 9, they are uk size and which = 43

I have a ? about the RO combat boots.. I'm a 42 in most shoes sz 9 in athletic shoes and I got an 08 RO Combat boots in a 43 and not only were they too big, they were way too big, like my ankles were too small and really my whole foot and leg.. It felt like a snow boot or something? looked terrible so I sent them back. Is there a huge difference between the years as I'm looking at some 07 ones and they look much thinner to me? am I crazy? or is that they way they all fit?

For me I am US9 and I take the size 42 which fit very well.
RO boots or sneakers has a big toe box compare to other brand.
Suggest you pick a pair of 42

a size 3 is usually roughly 82-84cm, so 32-33 inches.

I usually wear sz29-30 in most brands and i wear sz1 in julius denims.
Some smart guy told me they were meant to look oversized on japanese people, which explains the weird fitting.

well, I was under the impression that size 1 is a waist 30, and size 2 (M) is a waist size 32, and so on. His measurements seem to be a size 32 because 81cm is a size 32 waist I believe.

also, what's a 46?

I wear size 30 in most denim so I thought a size 1 would suit me, but I'm just puzzled because he says its a size 1, but the measurements are off. Plus, I've heard Julius has varying sizing per collection.

waist "sizes vary quite a bit, its not always straight forward. theres also a major difference between waist SIZE and actual waist measurement. this is why its important to compare measurements rather than tagged sizing to some other random tagged size.

a 81cm waist doesn't sound like a typical 32 in denim, it sounds more like a 29-30 to me.
