I have a mix of both...a roomier fit is definitely more comfortable, but can look sloppy (unless that's what you're going for). I think fabric plays a role too...loose weaves, linens, etc. can look great in a slouchy cut. Crisp cottons, soft wools with lots of added structure look great in a fitted cut.

Whatever floats your boat I guess. Try both in-store and see what you feel most comfortable in.

            Tailoring / Reconstruction help

            Hi everyone.

So I typically wear an entire wardrobe of Julius, RO, CCP, InAisce, Devoa, Ann D, etc.

On the flip side, the only real color that I enjoy wearing is from late 90s and early 2000s Miu Miu, McQueen, Balenciaga and Givenchy.

That being said, I really really really hunt down and collect S/S 2005 Miu Miu men's line shirts. I just happen to really like them and their awkward military meets couture look. :)

So, there's one on ebay styled on top of a standard gray dress shirt and I want to buy it but it's way bigger than I'd normally purchase. Does anyone think a legit tailor would be able to work a sz 41 (US) / 51 (IT) down to a size 36 or 37 (US).

I've gotten 38 and 39 stuff reconstructed with great success but never ventured beyond that.

The link to the shirt is at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=220792111425

            Thanks for your advice
            DxD

What do you guys think? All I need is a yes and I'm buying it up! :)

Oh and if anyone else has any of these 2005 Miu Miu men's lines pieces in a IT 44-48 I'd be more than willing to buy them! :)

Both not yet. As Pita told me, white one will come first. (According to his order)

do the banded waist stretch much without being too uncomfortable on the RO pod shorts ? Don't know if I should get XS or S, I'm about a 31" waist. Only around 5'9" tall, looking for a smaller size might make me look less ridiculous.

Size S should fit you better because the length is similar between XS and S.

I'm a 46 and I have one of those in S. Medium would probably be too big, although I've never tried a medium on.

has anyone tried on Julius mainline suits from the past two seasons or so? from measurements it seems that size 2 == 48 but I'd like to hear some actual opinions from forumers who have had the chance to try on the suit jackets.
An object in possession seldom retains the same charm that it had in pursuit.
