I'm usually a 46, but I've gone down to a 44 in McQueen on more than one occasion, especially with his more fitted shirts (like the ones that are all wrapped up in straps or fitted short sleeves).

Hi--

I know a bunch of questions have been asked on Carpe Diem boots, but I just wanted to throw this out to make sure.

I'm normally a size 43 in most footwear but have wiiide feet so most of those slim pointed shoes look terrible on me! [:$]

My question is: for the 6-hole reverse calf boots, should I size down 1 size to a 42 like most have or should I stay true to size due to my wide feet?

hmmm, not familiar how wide feet work with cdiems. is there a barneys by you where you can try on a pair?

is anyone familiar with ccp overlock leather jacket sizing from fw06? i figured i'd get a second opinion just in case. is it sized down like the s/s 07 leathers or similar to the current fw 07?

thanks for the suggestion ddohnggo, but i was under the impression that Carpe Diem closed shop, and all remaining pairs at Barneys were liquidated during the winter sales.

I remember Albert saying he could fit into a 48 that season (as opposed to a 50-52 in the grey one from following spring?), do correct me if I'm wrong though!

as i told joey - i think the jackets just varied in size due to the object dying process. i have a 48 and there's no way i could fit into anything smaller - i can't really see albert fitting into my 48 since he's pretty much a true 50.

If we are talking about the black with white overlock version, I tried on a 48 at Atelier and it fit me with a t-shirt on really nicely. That being said, I could have likely worn the 50 and been happy for the most part.

As a reference, this season (er... fall/winter 07) I could wear the size 48 fencing although the 50 would have been perfect. The 48 was snug with a tshirt.

For the spring 07 overlock I got a 52 and it fit really nicely with a long sleeve shirt. If I was only wearing a tee, I could have gone true to size.

Just remember that they do tend to stretch out a tad... but don't expect them to go up a size!

The fw 06 leather is thicker and stiffer. Nice stuff though. It's got a lot more body and structure than the comparatively soft one from this fall.

I think Coldrice can confirm as well.
