Re: rick owens jacket:

I have that jacket in size M...I think S will def fit me better and I am size 46, It fits bigger than the other styles (except for the hooded one which I havent tried on)

Btw I think Oki-ni has sold out that jacket already, no? They just havent updated the website.

Man, this just confirms what everyone has been saying all along - you can't count on Rick Owens sizing to be consistent with his leathers. Go with the people who have the actual piece, alterion!

i'll ask here cause you guys are the experst, http://www.oki-ni.com/invt/ro0001blk

The other one from oki-ni, i have decided that jacket>having money in this case, but the problem is that i am a small and they have xs and medium left, Is there any hope? does it fit massive like the other one or normally in which case i might get medium and deal with it being slightly big, I pretty much a dead on 46 which should i go for?/ is it foolish hope
The extra small runs an entire size large. It fits like a big small or a japanese size 2. Be aware, the jacket is very long in length, it's about the same length as most m-65s. I'm 177 cm and the jacket was about 4-5 cm too long on my frame. I think you need to be at least 180 cm to wear the XS.

I was extremely disappointed with that jacket, especially after the fucking ridiculous customs, but since you're located in the UK the customs wouldn't be applied here, so.. it's worth a shot.

            Infact, I am certain that
the XS you're eyeing is the same jacket I returned to them. I am never
purchasing an RO leather again after the horrible sizing experience
with that RO jacket, on top of the insane $600 customs from oki-ni.

i'm guessing you'll be ok if you don't have a high arch. the toe box is huge and the shoe wide so you'll have lots of room. the 42 would def. hurt the arch as the 43 is pushing the limits for me.
Just received the boots? thanks to Aruva. They fit great. A bit snug width wise in the middle of the boot right under where the laces start (not sure what to call that area), but otherwise excellent fit. I'm hoping the leather will stretch out a bit and for a more comfortable fit.
I know it's only been a few days, but I'm going to start the quest to find a pair of Cdiem, and was wondering if they've started to stretch at all? Still not sure if I should be looking for a 42 or a 43 (my true size), I've got a fairly wide foot as well.

                        Re: Carpe Boots

There's a pair of Carpe boots on eBay right now. The seller told me they will fit someone with 26.5 to 27.5 cm feet. I reckon it's easier for you to judge with sizing in cm/inches.

                            Re: Carpe Boots

I had the exact same issue as I'm a normal 45, and purchased a 44 in the CDiems. I stuck a rolled up shirt in each boot (not into the toe box, just where it was snug) and they stretched in a matter of days. Now they are perfect.

yea les will be the best one to ask as cdiem shoes' sizing vary a lot depending on the style.
