For Guidi, it is sometimes best to size up.

I would stick to a 45, or maybe even go a size up. I have a pair of Guidi low cut shoes, and a boot exactly the same sole, but the shoe is a 45 and the boot is a 46.. Go figure...

There doesn't really seem to be an consensus as to how Julius boot sizing compares to usa.
I recently had this exchange with a seller-
me- Hi, I'm a us 12, will this Julius size 3 boot fit me?
him- yes, I'm an 11 and I have plenty of room.

Luckilly i didnt think itd quite work- though I had no idea that 3 might equal anything from us9 to us12

yeah, see, those charts match what i was told at atelier - that a julius size 3 is the equivalent of a us size 9 or so. i know julius makes size 4 clothes for the us and european markets...but do they make larger shoes as well?

and yeah, i'd prefer to get julius from japan as it's about 40% cheaper there...but if they don't have my size, then i'm screwed.
