Thank you so much. Interesting. I could probably most likely go for the XXL then. Great news. How do you like your coat?

like i mentioned, the coat fits a bit oversized, and thats a factor that im still trying to get used to as most of my coats are quite fitted. also, i had to shorten the length the bit as i like my coats to hit above the knee. dont worry though– the measurement i gave you was the original length.

after those minor alterations, the coat is great. the collar with the hood lends to a dramatic effect. also, because of the covered buttons/placket and slit pockets, the coat looks very elegant and sleek. definitely a winner

If you haven't found out already, a half(h) size is the different.

Some help for RO and CCP sizing

            Hey guys,

I was looking at getting a RO leather jacket and maybe a CCP leather jacket.

I just wanted to see if L-XL or 52-54 is better for me.

For jeans, I am curious about how true to size RO jeans are. I like them slim but not so tight that I can't walk! The tightest jeans I have now are a pair of Nudie slim jim 33, and Dondup 34. Some suggestions on jean brands to try out would be great too.

I am also very interested in CCP shoes and boots. I have been reading on this forum that sizes are all over the place. I would need something to fit an 11D.

            I am

            5'11.5"
            190 lbs
            43" chest
            33" waist
            32" inseam
            15.25-15.5" arm at widest point

            11D shoe size

I usually take a slim 42R USA or 52R suit. I am 52R in Mcqueen + Kilgour suits.

Athletic build, wider shoulders as I play hockey (kind of V shaped)

Thanks so much for your help!

                RO Drkshdw sizing

I ordered myself a pair of drkshdw Detroits. The consensus was to go up one size as they are quite small fitting. Naturally I went and ordered them in a 33. Just tried them on today and they are way too small for me. They seem more suited for a 29. What's the deal? Do they stretch? They are the coated ones if that makes any difference.

depends on the season and desired fit; so, which season are you talking about and how do you want it to fit, i.e. do you want to wear it over a t-shirt or over a sweater?

Haha yeah I know. I wish there were places to try stuff like ccp but there isn't so it's all up to the internet. I wouldn't want to make a multi thousand dollar mistake!!

in that case maybe-to-probably. better if you're looking at the cotton/rayon mix, which has a bit of stretch, and you don't mind shrink wrapped. but I couldn't guarantee it. def try before you buy if at all possible (or at least get some measurements)

Are CCP jackets true to size or are slim? I'm usually a 46, but i dont want something too tight.

hate to ask simple questions but do premiata boots typically fit true to size as in 43it = 10us, 44it=11us, etc?

They are perfect tailoring for men....that have ridiculously high arm holes.
