Dress pants are EXTREMELY easy to alter in the waist. They're damn near constructed to be done so. If you like them, buy them and take them to any quasi-competent tailor and they'll fix them right up for you without changing the silhouette!

Depending on the fit you like and especially if they're bigger than your real size, it's usually a good idea to have the tailor look at the possibility of reconstructing the seat.
