so read again. we can't communicate with the cobbler himself, cos they have manager for it and honestly cobbler is a kinda central asia refugee and don't speak our bloody language well. Anyway we bring em de facto brand new boots to simple operation and we don't allowed any other procedures. So fuck it, we are the right side.

I tend to avoid waterproof sprays, stuff with silicone etc. Would rather go with leather oils, been using Obenauf's for a few years, works like a charm. If i want more waterproofing, I grab the tub of their leather protector (beeswax compound) but it stiffens the leather, so I only use it on leathers like horse.
