I know this has been discussed before.. but I have been shopping with Yoox for SOOOOOO LONG and I am one of those guys that does not get the superstar status.. the amount of money I spend on there and I hardly return anything.. I am just puzzled how the make the selection as I know some people get it that spends less than I do.. *sigh..

I just received superstar status this Tuesday. This year I have spent a little more than £800, which is less than last year. In 2006 I spent two and a half grand (GBP) with yoox. (probably far from a record in this company) Surely then it can't be a money threshold that one must pass to gain superstar status.

Still, it's nice to be in at last. Some interesting stuff in the private room. In fact, I think yoox has a damn fine assortment of clothes this season.

i used to have at least 1 order per month for the past two and a half years, and then i stopped making an order for about 6 months, and i got superstar status this week as well. maybe there's a certain spending limit to be qualified, but i don't think that guarantees you to get it. i called about it once last year, when i had been making a couple orders a month over the summer, but i didn't get it until now. ironically, i got it during the time that i didn't make an order for a long time. i guess it's kind of random...but as far as the North American preview room, there's nothing i want.

sorry, i should have clarified myself. "there's nothing i want" apart from the $1100 12-eyelet elongated galliano clown ankle sneakers. but i can't afford it after copping those brown-leather-buckled $1,000 junya customized levi's from brown's. i'm basically broke. junya precludes me from partaking in the yoox greatness that is known as "the private room"
